BHS Harvard Model Congress
Congratulations to the 32 students in the Bernards High School Harvard Model Congress delegation for their impressive performances in Boston this February! Students played a variety of roles in the four-day simulation, including representatives in the House and Senate, the National Security Council, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and the Group of 20.
Special congratulations to those who were recognized by the HMC staff for their outstanding contributions to their committees, which this year included six BHS students.
The BHS recipients of a Best Delegate Award were Arden Addeo in the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee, and Kilian Schlager in the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Additionally, several BHS students received an Honorable Mention, including Joe Morandi in the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, Gabe Scotton in Senate Energy and Natural Resources, Andrew Tropp in House Judiciary, and Jack Ecklund in House Science, Space, and Technology.
