Helping Furry Friends
On May 22, 2025, the Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Club successfully completed its annual donation drive at Bernardsville Middle School, collecting an assortment of cat and dog food, toys, and other essential items to help an abundance of animals in need. These donations were delivered to Eleventh Hour Rescue in Rockaway.
During the visit, RAK students had the opportunity to learn about animal rescue efforts and interact with several adoptable cats! “We learned about how various cats arrive at the rescue, what circumstances they may have endured, and how Eleventh Hour is trying to care for those with medical issues,” shared Anastasia Tsereteli. “One of the best parts was getting to pet and play with the cats; mine was a super sweet cat named Queen!” The club made posters for their donation drive, and organized the items in preparation for their trip. It was clear by the students’ efforts and their peers who donated, that Bernardsville Middle School has compassion for our furry friends.
