Voter's Information

To be eligible to vote:

	Residents must be at least 18 years old;
	Citizens of the United States;
	Must have been living in the State and the County for at least 30 days;
	Must have registered at least 21 days prior to the election.

Anyone already registered to vote in general elections
may also vote in school elections.

Absentee Ballots
In New Jersey, any voter can now vote by Absentee Ballot for any election. Voters no longer need a reason for an Absentee Ballot.
A voter may apply for an absentee ballot by completing an Absentee Ballot Application and mailing the application to:
Somerset County Clerk, Brett A. Radi P.O. Box 3000 20 Grove St. Somerville, NJ 08876
at least 7 days prior to the election .
A voter may also apply in person at the Somerset County Clerk’s Office until 3:00pm, the day before the election.
The County Clerk cannot accept faxed copies of an Absentee Ballot Application since an original signature is required.
Absentee ballots must be completed for each election.
