Next Public Board Meeting

Updates from the 10/16 Public Board Meeting

Thank you to everyone who joined us and participated in our meeting on the evening of October 16th. Dr. Brotschul and the board recognized the extraordinary accomplishments of our BHS Students and their work with Community in Crisis.

 

Included in the superintendent's report were updates on the district website review task force, district budget development for FY26, the BHS lower fields projects and the district collaboration with Community in Crisis. Health Matters December Newsletter

Join us for the annual Festival of Trees, December 6-29! This cherished community tradition is fun for the whole family. Festival of Trees is a multi-room display of 40+ decorated trees with a wide variety of themes & styles. It is sure to get you into the holiday spirit! 

 

Festival of Trees is open daily, December 6-29, 9am-4:30pm. It is closed December 24th and 25th.

 

BHS MOVIE NIGHT/DATE & MOVIE UPDATE 12/12/24

Let’s kick off the Holiday Season with a community event! Please join us for Bernardsville Movie Night, sponsored by the Boys and Girls High School Basketball Programs. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Tickets are only $10 and this event sold out last year so please reserve your tickets in advance. 

Please CLICK HERE to purchase tickets, leaving the last name of attendee in comments. Please check in at will call the night of the show and the tickets will be waiting for all guests with advance purchase tickets.

The feature film is a classic-Home Alone 1. This event will take place at the Historic Bernardsville Movie Theater at 6:30pm on Thursday, December 12th. Chicken Nuggets, Pizza and snacks are available for purchase and there will be adults present to supervise throughout the event. 

If you cannot attend and would like to donate a ticket/s for a student on free or reduced lunch please consider doing so as we have scholarships set up for this event. Please click on the link above and suggest donation in comments. Join us on Sunday, December 8th at Liberty Park in Peapack-Gladstone for a festive celebration of our community’s pets—all in support of innovative educational programs for students in the Somerset Hills School District! Dress up your pets and bring the whole family for a day filled with holiday cheer and fun.

Nutcracker season is almost upon us and the Roxey Ballet Company would like to invite you and your school to our School Show Matinee Production of The Nutcracker. We are a non-profit 5013C organization!

 

The show is specially curated for students of all ages, uniting art and education in this magical experience. 

 

The performance will take place on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Villa Victoria Theater, at 10:00 am. Tickets are on sale for $25 each and we want to pack the theater with students from every part of our community. Join us for a pre-show Q/A session and see magic come to life before your eyes! To reserve your seats, RSVP HERE
